Fire cupping has been used for more than 2,000 years as a form of acupuncture. Glass cups are warmed with fire and then placed on acupuncture points on the skin, creating suction. The suction encourages blood flow, which relieves pain and draws out toxins.
Check out a video of our esthetician, Lindsey Holder, undergoing a treatment.
“I already love my monthly sessions of acupuncture, so adding fire cupping to my routine is heavenly,” says Lindsey. “To answer your first question: Nope, it doesn’t hurt a bit. In fact, the opposite. It feels AMAZING!”
What do you think? Would YOU try fire cupping?
